Custom data

Only PRE license editotion have custom data feature. The other license editions do not have it.

What's custom data​

Custom data is custom object that store additional information related to contact or not related to contact.

There are two type of custom data related to contact that you can create in platform:

Create new custom data​

Permission

You should have right permission to create new custom data. Contact your administrator to assign permission.

Every custom data will be hold in group data, you should create group data first:

  1. Go to Data Builder menu
  2. Click + Add group
  3. Fill group name and group description
  4. Click Save to complete process

Following these step to create new custom data:

  1. Go to Data Builder menu
  2. Select data group that you created before
  3. Click + Add button
  4. Fill custom data name and fill desription
  5. Click Save to complete process

Create custom data attribute​

Notes
  • Make sure you define and design your custom data schema before create it
  • You can not create attribute with the same api code
  • You can not delete attribute if that attribute is using somewhere in your campaign

Following these step to update attribute:

  1. Go to Data Builder menu
  2. Select given data group
  3. Select given custom data
  4. Click + Add attribute button
  5. Select data type and fill attribute name and attribute description
  6. Click Save to complete

Custom data layout​

Every custom data has been created, you can add that custom data to menu and display data in list page and detail page. Custom data layout help you to define the layout and attributes should be displayed:

You can setup layout for custom data depending on creation attributes:

  1. List layout: List of attribute for table or grid item

  2. Detail layout: Device by row and column, each of column can contains 1 to 4 attributes
